False Positive Narrative

This mango looks battered and rotten on the outside,  but it glows golden when cut open.
And then the caption follows: “My character vs my heart.”
As if someone can be sour on the outside and still claim sweetness within.
I disagree. Strongly.

Because in real life, character is not costume.
What you carry inside will always leak out somehow - through your words, your choices, your habits, your silence, your anger, your generosity.
A man cannot house light in his heart and radiate darkness in his behaviour. The maths no go ever add up.

People hide behind that picture because it is easier to blame “misunderstanding” than to confront who they have become.
But truth has a stubborn way of revealing itself.
You cannot insult people, manipulate people, hurt people, disrespect people and then tell them, “Don’t worry, my heart is pure.”

Your heart is the engine room; your character is the smoke that comes out of the chimney.
If the smoke is black, something is burning wrong inside.

Goodness has a fragrance.
Kindness has a temperature.
Love has a language.
And you cannot fake it for long.

So let’s stop romanticising bad behaviour.
Let’s stop wearing “I have a good heart” like perfume while our actions choke people.
If your inside is truly golden, it will show — not in memes, not in captions, but in how you treat human beings.

The world is not asking anyone to be perfect.
But at least, let the inside and the outside agree small.
Let your heart and your character tell the same story.

So many Unanswered Prayers of Nigerians

As a Nigerian you must learn to pray—because survival often depends on it.

1. In case of fire, forget the fire service.
If your house catches fire, don’t bother calling emergency services—they're likely unavailable or under-equipped.
🔥 Only God can quench that flame.

2. Before you travel, pray.
Whether by road or even air, insecurity is real. Kidnappers are on the highways, and our security agencies?
🚨 They depend on God too.

3. Our roads are death traps.
Potholes big enough to swallow vehicles, collapsed bridges, and failed road projects.
🚗 Only God can keep you from driving into an early grave.

4. Clean water is a luxury.
In many places, the only source of water is dirty, untreated, and risky.
💧 Only God can purify the water besides, “dirty no dey kill African”

5. Healthcare System is Broken
You need to pray that you don’t fall seriously sick, because:

Hospitals often lack electricity, equipment, or even our doctors no wan work again cos japa is the only way

👉🏾Only God can heal you because the system has failed

6. NEPA/PHCN Wahala
You need to pray for light

Generators have become a necessity, not a backup - what am i even saying? Can we afford fuel to power the generators ?

💡 Only divine intervention can preserve our foods in the freezer and we can deal with the heat

7. Education is in Crisis
You need to pray for wisdom and luck, because:

Schools are underfunded.

Teachers are poorly paid and often unmotivated.

ASUU strikes can keep you at home for years.
📖 Only God can help you graduate on time and getting a job after that is a topic for another day

8. Corruption and Mismanagement are Everywhere
You need to pray for favour, not merit, because:

Jobs are “connected”.

Promotions are politicized.

Even justice is bought.
👉 Only divine favour can open doors the system has locked.

9. No Reliable Emergency Services (Police, Ambulance, etc.)
If you're in danger dial the heavenly number- JESUS. Dont bother calling police cos they wont respond or at best must be late

No Emergency Ambulance Services anywhere in this country

👮 🚑 Only God can show up when no one else does.

10. High Cost of Living vs Low Wages
You need to pray for provision daily because:

Food prices skyrocket while salaries remain stagnant.

Inflation erodes your savings.

“Minimum wage” cannot buy minimum survival.
👉 Only Jehovah Jireh (The Provider) can sustain a families….
